MOPAR MUSCLE
Mopar Muscle will be put to the test
during Mopar vs. The World on Friday, Sept. 3, part of
the weekend’s activities for Mopar Thunder at Bristol
Dragway.
On Friday evening, the mighty
Mopars will take on all-comers in an event designed to
pit them against the fastest machines from all other
makes.
All car models from any
manufacturer are eligible to compete against the Mopar-powered
machines during Mopar vs. The World.
As part of the event, drivers will
be allowed to participate in a test and tune session
prior to the race.
The entry fee for Mopar vs. The
World is just $40, and the driver to conquer the field
will take home a $1500 winner’s check.
Mopar Thunder is the place for fans
of all Chrysler Corporation vehicles. The General Lee,
possibly the world’s most famous Mopar, will be in
attendance. Also, a Dodge Ram-bodied jet truck will heat
up the track and make blistering-quick passes through
Thunder Valley during the event.
The Keisler Engineering car show
will fill the Dragway grounds and gives fans a chance to
see their favorites from years gone by. \
The swap meet, car corral and
Manufacturers’ Midway will give spectators and
participants the opportunity to purchase the
hard-to-find items they have been looking to purchase
for their new or classic Mopar.
